
1. Clothing and Necessities
According to the Plumas Co Website the LDS/Mormon Church on Bellamy Lane in Quincy is accepting donations of clothing and personal hygiene items now until August 10th from 10am-6pm. They especially ask for clothing, hygiene items, gift cards, pet supplies, and school supplies to meet immediate needs. You can either mail donations to them or drop them off in person.
2. Donations at Plumas Bank
Monetary donations can be made over the phone, by mail, online, or in person with the Plumas Bank in Quincy. Just tell them that you want to help with the fire.

3. American Red Cross
American Red Cross is running the evacuation centers for evacuees from these fires. Currently the Dixie Fire spans almost half of Plumas County and there are thousands seeking their services. Donate to their efforts by texting the word “REDCROSS” to 90999 to make a $10 donation. You can also call them at 800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-27677) or donate online.
4. United Way
The United Way website boasts having helped with the Beckwourth Complex Fire, Dixie Fire, Lava Fire, Salt Fire, and Tennant Fire. Donate to the United Way by clicking here.
5. Salvation Army
The Salvation Army is providing meals for evacuees at the Lassen County Community College and Lassen High School. They are also providing services to those who lost their homes in Greenville and would appreciate a donation at this link. You can also learn more about what they are doing to help by clicking here.
